Car Hire at Tampa

Are the main Car Hire Companies - Alamo & Dollar on airport at Tampa or do you need to take a bus?

I am sure I there is a thread outhere somewhere, but sorry I can't find it.

I think Dollar are on airport and Alamo are off at Tampa, although I'm sure someone will correct me if that has changed [msnwink]

Alamo are on-airport...

Alamo are sort of on/off airport, it is a very short bus ride. just around the corner. free shuttle to both airport and cruise terminal

Thanks for that, Bill hates having to get a shuttle may have to go with Dollar this time.

We picked up a car from Alamo at Tampa on Tuesday and they were most definitely on airport with no bus required

Alamo cars used to be a short distance away but they are definitely at the Airport now.

Nice to see the have moved on airport. I know there was a lot of construction around the airport area at the time we went. so it must be finished
