    Thomson

Have just returned from 2 weeks in Kissimmee, flying with Thomson into Sanford. I have not flown charter for some years but just wanted a cheap 2 weeks from Birmingham. I have to say I was immpressed, the leg room was fantastic, much, much better than either Virgin or BA, the inflight food was good, the entertainment was OK and for 2 of us I paid just under £700 which included 20kilos each of hold luggage. We would go with them again with no hesitation.

We flew thomson last summer into Sanford from Gatwick, great flight brilliant service.
Would use them again without hesitation, but summer holiday fligths have risen to extortionate rates so not an option this year.

More recently we have tended to fly PE with Virgin and have always been satisfied but are getting concerned how prices are rising. We are looking to fly Premium with Thomson's next May as they are substantially cheaper than Virgin.

Has anyone got experience of flying Premium with Thomson.

We flew Premium in May with Thompson, the flights were brilliant both on time, the service in Premium was great very attentive, plenty to drink but if your picking up a car that is not an option, plenty of room and food was okay. All in all well looked after. You also get entrance to the Palms Lounge at Sanford airport, this is not on any tickets but if you show your boarding pass you get free entrance, it's a nice spacious lounge with plenty of free snacks around and tea and coffee, I think you get two free alcoholic drinks per person too!

Thanks Suzy. I think I'm going to book and give them a try.

We flew into Sanford about 5 years ago and had no problems with car hire. I think that we used Dollar, although my memory may be deceiving me.

Flying with Thomson doesn't prevent you to pick your hired car, but drinking too much on your Thomson flight might [msnwink]... I think that was Suzy's point.

We flew premium last summer. Service was great, much better that Virgin, nothing was too much for them. Really liked the hot chocolate you got just before the lights went down on the night flight home.

We went with them from East Midlands (last minute booking) last Easter in Premium and would echo the comments below. We got stuck in Florida with the Icelandic volcano thing and they were great at keeping you up to date on things. We had to try really hard to get them to let us stay in the villa rather than the free hotel they had laid on for stranded passengers. I hear Virgin were not quite as accommodating with their own passengers.

I'd have absolutely no hesitation in using them again.
