Help Choosing Gold or Silver Option

Hi everyone,

So to re-cap on everything before we book:

Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of these points.

1. Silver is the best option for 3 weeks hire?
2. Booking silver option with Alamo, I will get 2 drivers included in the price?
3. I will only need to pay for the fuel on arrival at the airport and nothing else?
4. All insurances are included?

So basically the only difference between the two options (silver and gold) is the pre-paid full tank of fuel?

That all sounds right to me. The only cost you will have to pay is the tank of fuel (they actually take the payment on return of the car, from the card details you give them when you collect the car). The only difference between Silver and Gold is Gold includes that tank of fuel, and also Gold includes up to 9 drivers.

Just one more thing..... Is the second driver on the silver option with Alamo fully insured also?

Can I just double check this issue with 2 drivers being allowed on the Silver option? Just that when I went on to book it said I had to double check whereas before I am sure it was always included. Mind you the difference between Gold and Silver may not be too much if you allow for the tank of petrol as well. We're looking at a convertible as only 2 of us, has to be 4x4 when the family are with us.
