    search difficulty

    I was trying to search for hot tub and this is the message I got:

    Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e31'

    Timeout expired

    I had a similar problem when I was seaching and tried specifying "Spa"

    It's because the database is getting big. Try narrowing your search down to specific forums rather than across the whole site and you will find it works well.

    In the meantime I'll archive a few more posts which will fix the problem .

    I was actually trying to look in the archived posts as it was a particular discussion from early last year I wanted.[V]

    If you check the box marked 'archived posts' next to which forum to search, you should get these up in your results.

    I couldn't get on here tonight, much less search for anything!

    In the end I went on google, typed in www.orlandovillas.com couldn't get in via the actual site, then had to go in "see ov.com cache" and the front page came up, and could then get in - very slowly, but still here!

    I've now found what I wanted by just looking in the villa owners section. Stupid thing is I knew there were links in it to some websites I wanted and then discovered I was one of the main contributors of the links![:I]
