Where to buy a camera

I used to buy most of my gear from a shop on the 192, I think it was The 192 Camera Shop. For the average buyer I would steer clear but if you know the oods inside and out, you will get items much cheaper. Maybe grey imports, but hat has never bothered me. Mostly I bought stuff with manufacturers warranty.
First rule of shopping for gadgets is to google and see what the discounted price is, if you can get near that in a big name store, buy it.
