Hi with car hire silver option can you bring the car back full of fuel and not pay for fuel when you pick up your car, difference in cost for gold option £79 or about $126 which must buy you at least 30 gallons i think it's about $3.80 a gallon at the moment any info or your experience would be much appreciated

On the Silver option they will charge you for a full tank of fuel, so you must return as empty as possible. Alamo are very fair in their fuel charge (unlike Dollar who usually charge way over the pump price).

We used Alamo last year and purchased a full tank of petrol. We didn't find it expensive at all and we have booked with them again this year.

Petrol around $3.88 at the minute. We have an Alamo car at the moment, their pre-pay rate is $3.85. We try and return as empty as possible but without risking running out!
    Regards, Mark
