    Royal Wedding

Not sure if this has been posted already, but just in case it hasn't, and anyone in Florida wants to see it....

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel's will host a free live broadcast of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton beginning at 5 a.m. April 29 on large screens in the lobby of the Dolphin.

We are here at the moment and can't believe just how much coverage the Royal Wedding is getting. Last night Sharon Osborne was presenting a programme with another presenter on the Royals and that was just one of many even our local Bay News 9 has as much coverage as we were getting at home if not more. If we thought we would miss it by not being at home I think we are sorely mistaken.

You'd think you'd be able to escape it all by being in Florida

Maybe we should all be just a little bit proud that 'our' Royal family have a World Wide appeal and following and that other countries are interested and want to watch the wedding! In the current economic climate anything that encourages tourists to visit London and the UK in general has to be a good thing.

Like Sandra I will be watching as much as I can tomorrow[msnsmile2]

Damn right, without the Royal family Great Britain has nothing left.

I will be watching when I can tomorrow, I do think our pomp and ceremony is second to none. The british are the best in the world at this sort of thing. The press has made it a royal wedding overload I think and I can understand why some people (my husband included) are a trifle bored with the whole thing.

It is fairly simple for anyone in Florida not to watch it....just don't get up at some unearthly hour..stay in bed!! You don't have to watch it. Easy.

I am on the countdown and whilst watching the BBC Six O'clock News got shivers down my spine watching all the people in London dressed up and getting into the spirit of thing. I do so wish I could be in London on a truly historic occasion. I have only managed to be in London once for the Queen Mother's 100th Birthday. Within minutes of arriving I had my purse stolen out of my bag which I had right over my should and clutched in front of me[msncry][msncry] However, it did not spoil my pleasure when the Royal family all drove down The Mall. The atmosphere is something so brilliant to experience. Still, the TV is doing it for me this time[clap][clap]and I intend to enjoy every minute.[msnwink]
