Baseball - Our son Arun, Pitching

Since we have had the villa Arun has really started to follow the Tampa Bay Rays and each year he goes to at least 1 game. Last year he and my husband Jai were interviewed live on tv by Todd Callas at Tropicana Fields - it made Arun's holiday [msnsmile2]

For the last 3 years he has played for a team here at home. He has been the youngest member of the squad but has shown a great aptitude for the game and last season he got 49 stolen bases and won Most Valuable Player. He was 19 a couple of weeks ago and is no longer the baby of the team.

He started pitching last year and this passed Sunday he started the pitching for the first game of the season and he pitched 120 balls ( I have his stats if anyone is interested)

We took in our first game this year and really enjoyed ourselves although still trying to work out the game!

He used to play cricket and football, he's always been a good all rounder at sports, but loves Baseball

Now he's at Uni he doesn't get to play as much as he used to.
