Aer Lingus - No Future Dates?

I'm keeping an eye on prices at the moment in anticipation of booking some flights to Orlando for next May when they come on sale.

When I put some dates (random dates for early next year) into Aer Lingus' site, I get the error message:

! Flights do not operate on your selected travel date/s. Aer Lingus operates from Oct 26 2008 - Oct 29 2011 on days Tue Thu Sat

Does anyone know, does this spell the end to Aer Lingus flights to MCO after October 29 2011?
Dave.

Aer Lingus put their flights up 330 days in advance so you won't be able to see May 2012 until June 2011

I just tried it and got the same message, however if I just did it from orlando to dublin it quoted me, but would not quote from Dublin into Birmingham.

ATF, did you check from Manchester or Dublin?

Lyn, good thinking, I just tried from Dublin and it does give me a price, it's only when I try from Manchester that I get the error message as above. I find it unlikely that Aer Lingus will drop it's Manchester to Dublin route - it may be that short-haul flights are not released as far in advance I suppose.

RainyDay, yes, I realise that, that's why I was trying random dates early next year - I tried various February dates on several airlines' sites to see what they come up with.

It is a bit puzzling. I was looking at flying out of Dublin to save the rip off UK departure taxes.

As you say, it isn't possible to get a fare from Manchester (or Blackpool) after October 2011 but it does show flights from London, Amsterdam and Paris into Dublin way beyond then so clearly some short haul flights are loaded. I did find MAN-AMS-DUB through another site but that would be crazy. I agree that cancelling the service looks unlikely but they have stiff competition on that route from Ryannair who also fly to Dublin from Liverpool.

I think a quick phone call might solve the mystery.
