Returned home from dinner tonight to a ransacked villa.
Loads stolen and some scared kids around at the mo.
Police just left.
Laptop gone so sole form of communication is iPhone.

oh my God!! you poor thing... I've never seen or heard of that on this site before... I'm so sorry Garry xx poor kids... i remember what mine were like when small.. went away on holiday and came back to a shed broken into took Steves snap on toolbox with around £2,000 were of tools and my sons motorbike... didnt care about the material things it messed the kids phsycologically as they kept thinking they were gonna come back and get into the house
hope you get it sorted and managed to try and get on with the rest of the holiday x

I m so sorry to hear this, especially since you have all been having such a wonderful time, to have any sort of incident whether it is medical or like this can put such a dampener on your stay. Hope the children are not too distressed and that you can put it to the back of your mind to enjoy the rest of your trip. Easier said than done I know. Hopefully your villa owner will be in touch with you soon if they haven't already to see if there are any additional measures that can be taken to make you feel more secure and that the Police will recover your stolen property.

Sorry to hear this news, how awful. The feeling of insecurity is the worst, more even than the material costs. Never had it happen on holiday but I was burgled at home, laptop-camera-camcorder and even now it makes me feel awful, at the back of your mind you keep hoping its all a mistake and you will wake up and find out it was just a bad dream.
