Gail we use the Shuttle Park on the airport and there service is brilliant. £37.00 for 16 day/nights. ( 21st April till 8th May ) We have used them about 5 times and they are really good. We were caught in the volcano last year and we were late getting back by 4 days and they did not charge us any extra. Would highly recommend them.

Book Valet parking direct on the airport's website. It's a little more than the others but not a lot and is REALLY handy as you literally drive to the terminal to drop off your car. On your return you collect the car just over the road from the terminal on the ground floor of the multiple storey car park.

This is the only one we use now - we used to use various of the valet parking companies who were offsite - but after being let down twice in a row we decided to call a stop to that. We now book the onsite valet parking through Airmiles - we paid 49 pounds last time for 13 days. We would thoroughly recommend them.

An alternative is "parkatmyhouse.com". Often the property owner can drive you to the airport for a small extra charge. We use this site to book parking at Southampton, but they have participants all over the country.

Our last holiday we parked in Manchester airport itself T2 there was an offer on, on our return our car was damaged, someone parked next to us had drove into our driver side.
2 hours later security said leave at your own risk!! we couldn't claim a penny from them. Security cameras not working etc..
We took it further when we got home and the nitty gritty states leave at your own risk even though we had paid, it is up to the driver who did the damage to leave their details which they didn't.
Put a dampener on our return holiday to say the least £250 worth of damage, it was a done with a car with bull bars it left 4 lines right down the side of out car, sods!
this time we have booked a taxi [msnwink]

The problem is 1/ People cannot park cars properly. 2/ People cannot drive cars properly. 3/ People dont care about others cars. 4/ The parking bays are made way to small, to maximise ammount of parking bays/revenue. 5/ Its not just at the airport its everywhere Asda, Morrisons, Tescos, Sainsburys, Councils etc.

All our cars have been dinted/scratched over the years.

My pet hate is people who cannot park straight, so take up 2 spaces. Why cant they reverse back and straighten up. Ignorant ***s

    Sorry rant over[msnwink]

We stayed at The Hilton and this included 15 nights parking.

We can also recommend APH parking. They often send you discounts if you register an email address with them. Bewleys hotel also do a good deal with an overnight stay including 15 days parking, they are right on the airport
