Dollar or Alamo

Was looking to book a mid size SUV and the prices quoted are for Dollar and Alamo. The price quoted for Alamo is £25 cheaper,I was just wondering is there any difference between the two companies and which one is best

Both are excellent, but from a customer service point of view, and selection of cars, I'd recommend Alamo or National over any other supplier.

I used Dollar (for Dollar Express) for years until I got a poor car (by comparison to normal). Went to Alamo to be able to choose my car and not used anyone since. I signed up to the Alamo renter programme like Dollar Express although still booked through USCARHIRE, received free upgrade at the booth in the car park.

We booked a Mid size SUV with Alamo last October. They didn't have one in the garage so told us to pick one from the Full Size selection [clap]

I've always chosen Alamo because they let you choose your own car.
