    Santa Fe Cattle Co.

Ate here 3 times and enjoyed everytime. Big choice, they have steak, ribs, burgers and a load of other stuff, the sizzlin' fajitas are really good. We thought cheaper than other similar places. When you get to your table the server brings a tin bucket of monkey nuts [peanuts in the shell] that had a salty taste, really good! When you crack the nuts out of the shell you just throw the shell on the floor, the whole place is covered. The one we used is at 1203 Sunrise Plaza Clermont, FL 34714.You go as far west on the 192 as you can then north on I 27 towards Clermont, only a couple of minutes from turning off 192 on your right. Think they got another in Lake Buena Vista area but address isn't on their website.

Well reading your post has left me a little cheesed off,
We were staying in Silver Creek at Clermont and past Santa Fe every time we left the villa. For the 2 weeks we were there we talked about giving it a try but never did . Now after reading your post wished that we had went.
Just need to put it on the list for the next time we visit.

It does sound good, what can you compare it to?

Is it an Outback, Manny's or Charley's sort of place??

We also went there for the first time at Christmas, when we visited our villa and had an excellent meal. I had a really good steak and my son had piping hot fajitas.

We loved the peanuts - you feel so naughty throwing them on the floor, bit like when you were a toddler in a high chair, chucking your crusts over the edge! [msnwink] They also bring lovely hot rolls and butter while you wait, and will refill these whenever you ask.

It is actually a bit like Logan's Roadhouse. Very themed inside and outside. Nothing like Outback or Charlies, and not yet been to Mannys.

We will definitely be trying it again next time we go.

[/quote]We preferred Santa Fe to Outback and Mannys. Not as good as Longhorn but cheaper. Haven't been to Charlies.
