WE ARE STUCK IN BOSTON BECAUSE WE MISS OUR FLIGHT BY A DAY. WE ARE PLANNING TO TRAVEL BY BUS TONIGHT, BUT WONT ARRIVE UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING. WILL THE REST OF OUR CAR HIRE BE VALID UNTIL THE 30TH??? You'll need to email in to info@uscarhire.co.uk if it's a booking with us as we do all our customer support by email and not on the forums as forum posts are too easy to miss, but we always reply to emails.

Budget will generally hold cars for you for a day or so, but you would need to call the emergency number on the voucher (assuming you booked through us), leave a message with your order number etc, then someone will call you back.

We tried that..we even phoned budget..we did book with you but budget will do nothing without you rebook us..we had no phone or internet my daughter had to write this..we can fly out tomorrow if we know the car will be there will e mail you

OK got home got new plane tickets..phoned Budget again this time told the car will be there..so we are hoping they are right about that..they say they don't need a new voucher but one would be nice if there is time...because we hope they are right about this too..we don't want the car any longer than it was booked for..so the return date is the same we were only going to see a show at the weekend..its really hard trying to contact people when you have no phone or internet..my daughter did try her best even coming here to the forum to try to catch someone...but she had no idea what to do..we get into FL at around 5pm..we will put all info into an email now we are back in the modern world...lol

I think it is unfair, if you have paid for something, like a car hire in advance, it shouldn't matter as to where you are a day or two late, that a company wants you to rebook being that they have your money already.

I think the first lady thought we were in the UK and asked us to redo the car with our travel company before leaving..the second one we talked to know we were in the US so said just come along because its just a shorter booking..we have done this before with a change over booking from one car to another..one lady made a big fuss over the phone the guy when we got there just laughed and we ended up with a nicer car than we booked..I was more worried because at the time we may not of got there till Thursday going first to New York ..I wanted to Grayhound it down its something I'd wanted to do for years but hubby hates the thought..but in the end the plane tickets worked out cheaper so he won..

Its sunny here right now the snow is way off from Boston..it does snow heavy here till late April..and it has to be real bad before Logan fall behind this time of year..

I spoke to y daughters boyfriend in Woburn yesterday and he said they had had heavy snowfall the day before, he was a bit miffed because they hadnt had any in Ohio and going home for Spring Break was hoping for some decent whether.
My daughter has done the Peter Pan bus a couple of time between New York and Woods Hole and really enjoyed seeing the scenery.
