We are thinking of going to the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney in August. Do we need to book? Can we turn up, put name down and have a wander round while we're waiting or do we need to ring days/months in advance? Thanks

All the times that we have used the Rainforest Cafe they did not take bookings. The only way you get a table is to turn up, put your name down and wait.
They give you a pager and hope you will look round their shop and buy something. If your going at a busy time then your wait can be an hour so please take this into account.

Yes we phoned up whilst their few days before...all worked ok alttho' this time round we gonna try the new dinosaur restaurant at downtown...
Didn't know that you can phone ahead now. We would always fo for a late lunch/early dinner between 3:00 and 4:00 and got in pretty quickly.
