I agree with others about Bok Tower, we love it there, a lovely walk around the gardens and the carillon tower is just beautiful.

The Mission Inn at Howie in the Hills has a number of restaurants. The one we like is the Hacienda where you can go for Sunday Brunch. After lunch you can go on the Conquistadors walk (approx 20 mins)by the golf course. All very pleasant. If you are driving that far out with them then the other place to catch a totally different kind of meal in the area is Yalaha Bakery. This is sandwiches or a meal from their limited but fresh meals of the day.

Silver Springs have very pleasant gardens & the novelty of glass-bottomed boats !!!!
Agree with others as to Bok Gardens, very interesting & relaxing day out. The Cafe was excellent & the shop had an unusual range of items for sale - lot of garden-related goods, well worth a browse.....
