Violet, Cracker Barrel bake fresh 'biscuits' which are very similar to our scones, although they are not sweet- you can put butter and jam on them. They do sell them to take away and are delicious.
However, if it is more traditional scones he needs then they can be bought at Sherlocks in Celebration.

Panera Bread do a lovely orange scone, not sure about all plain though
Your guest could also take some over with her and freeze them when she arrives to use throughout their stay.

The 'biscuits' in Cracker Barrell are great if you want plain savoury scones. Also sell them in kfc I love them buttered.

I thought there was an English couple who have a bakers somewhere along the 192 perhaps someone who is more familiar with the area can help with a name but if they are still there then I would have thought they could perhaps help supply some for your guests.
