Thread: A4 or not A4

    A4 or not A4

Does anyone know where I can get A4 paper. I need about 20 sheets to send an important document back to the UK urgently. I am on Sandy Ridge, off J58 of I4. I tried staples at Posner Park but they do not stock this size (the standard US size of course is 8 1/2 x 11 ins)

You could try UPS at Champions Gate. The guy in there is really helpful and if there is any UK size A4 he would probably know where to find it. Personally I doubt you will find UK A4.

    Good luck.

OR you could just buy US legal size and use a box cutter to make it A4

    Legal 8.5 x 14 inches 216 x 356 mm

    A4 8.3 x 11.7 inches 210 x 297 mm

The legal size would be better as their letter is wider width and shorter length. Can u change page setup to letter size as I don't think they have A4 size there

Thanks you everyone for your constructive replies. I particularly liked the idea of faxing the sheets over, but the route I chose was to go to UPS, get some legal size paper (thanks for the tip Dave) and ask the guys at UPS if they could cut the paper down to A4 size - which they could. For the 20 sheets of A4 paper and cutting them down they charged me $2.14. I have just posted off the report so everything went according to plan. Thanks for the offer Lyn, I would have taken you up on it had the guys at UPS not done the business.
