LIGHTS IN THE SKY

Alan we were travelling back from Trafford Center north to M62 branching off to M61 over on the left side there was a bright light which we have seen (many times before from our home in Wigan ) it appears to be basically over West Manchester.
When you observe this object on a clear night you can see navigation lights both red and green and it is stationary for long periods of time and then it moves position.
