We went in August last year Graeme and we honestly didn't need the pool heating. Yes the water is cool when you first dip your foot in, but it didn't stop any of us from enjoying the pool for the whole vacation.

I know some people prefer to have the pool heating just to take the edge of the 'coolness'. Depends as well on what you would be charged for this facility in July.

Bear in mind the temperature can, and often does, top the 100 mark!!!

If you like to swim in hot bath water then you would like the heating on. If you prefer to cool down in the heat then a pool without additional heating is much more pleasant.

If you are unsure then don't have it on.
You can always ask for it to be switched on by the local management company !
