    Tomorrowland Fireworks Dessert Party

Just booked the Tomorrowland Fireworks Dessert Party for March.

Anyone else tried it? Any good?

    Also booked:

    Chef Mickey's
    Hollywood & Vine
    Tusker House

    All character dining.

Thinking of making a reservation at Downtown Disney too, any recommendations? Thinking Planet Hollywood.

We are 9 people with kids 12,9,8,2,1

    As always, thanks in advance

House of Blues at Downtown Disney is good, also Wolfgang Pucks and Rainforest Cafe. Planet Hollywood is OK too (very noisy) and a must if you've not been but it's not my favourite.

We've done the Wishes Dessert Party and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great viewing for the fireworks and the desserts aren't bad either [msnsmile]

Agree with Caroline about Downtown Dining, although Planet Hollywood was an experience we wouldn't go back.

T-Rex cafe is similar to Rainforest but with dinosaurs, food wasn't bad, and the kids we went with loved it.

Garry, have you done any of the restaurants in the Disney property hotels? Just thinking that our lot love the restaurants in the Wilderness Lodge and also the buffet in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I realise that it's not character dining, but would highly recommend it as a child friendly dining experience.

    Hi,

It's not character dining, it is a WDW dining booking you make for the MK fireworks. Basically at 9pm for a 10pm show you make your way to Tomorrowland where you enter a restaurant area. You then have the choice of lots and lots (and lots) of desserts along with tea/coffee/ juice etc.. At 10pm you then have a viewing balcony which gives you great views of the firework display.
