Here in Kent it#s starting to thaw - can anyone tell me why i've booked to go skiing in Lapland on Boxing Day? What ever was I thinking? Of course that's if we take off from Gatwick.

My mother in law can't make it here for Christmas from the UK the kids are very upset..she should fly into Boston next Tuesday lets hope the storm this end holds off..
its still warm here 4 degree's I've still only had the gas heating on for 15 mins so far this year my small panel heaters are keeping the house at 70 I'm really pleased..not even started on the wood ...its too warm for a log fire..the snow is almost gone the roads are dry..its just raining now..8 inches of snow almost gone in a day..

Not sure we'll have white Christmas more a dirty gray one..

Drove over to Lincolnshire last night, over the Pennines it got down to minus 7, but 4 degrees when we arrived. Snowing today though, looks like were in for white Christmas.[xmas1]
