After looking though...your prices are £100+ more than when I booked wih Dollar directly and that's WITH gas included.

We have 2 sites, floridahire.com and uscarhire.co.uk both of which you can book cars anywhere in the USA. Dollar have various offers (as do we) at different times of year so on occasions they may have a lower rate. We may have another very good offer coming along soon, you you might even want to consider cancelling your Dollar booking and rebooking a car with us (depending on when you travel).

Well if that is their policey...it stinks! [xx(] So because I PREPAY THEM way in advance (I might add) they penalize me? How nice.
And as far as going thru this site...I would have but as I said...I'm quite NEW to this site plus it won't help me when I go elsewhere in the US...

Steph...but did you book thru Dollar directly or thru here???

And thanks everyone else for the replies. I will try and call then again and see what they say.

Well I just got off the phone with Dollar yet again and they tell me I can NOT go to the express area because they have to do more paperwork and I have to show my prepaid voucher etc. at the desk. One would think people with prepaid vouchers would go thru the system alot quicker than ones without???? *sighs*

Roger, if your prices where the same I would cancel my booking with Dollar.co.uk but for the car class we booked (lux) for the Orlando trip..including gas...we paid £214 total and this was recent. Uscarhire is coming in at £288. Alamo is a wee bit cheaper but personaly I don't like their cars and am hoping we get the 300 Touring with Dollar as my father in law is dying to drive it lol.

So unless you guys can match the price I guess I have to stick with my original plan. I will keep checking from time to time to see if you have cheaper prices.

Why not? We do car hire all over the USA and Canada. Some of the non-Florida regions are the busiest of the lot [msnsmile].

Canada is not available, and hasn't been every time we've needed it. I guess we've been unlucky, but it's really too bad, as we've appreciated Uscarhire service every time we've used it.

We will have some Dollar specials coming over the next few days, depending on when you collect. These days Alamo are becoming by far the preferred supplier (in general newer cars, better customer service and we hope to get some new special extras included soon with Alamo). Having said that, if you are specifically after the Chrysler 300 then you have more chance with Dollar. Email your bookings detials to us at info@orlandovillas.com and we'll see if any of the new specials coming up may be applicable.

At long last, Canada will be coming up soon. If you email with any Canada requirements then we can quote for you.
