Just been mis-directed twice when using the forum. If you click on new topic" without having signed in (at least both on ask the experts and this section), you get directed off to some rubbish advertising site. I don't know if you're aware of this or not.

That is now fixed. A very obscure problem that stemmed from an attack by Chinese spam bots trying to post like mad a year or two ago. We had to redirect them all to another site so as to get them off our servers quickly as they were seriously slowing down all our sites.
I redirected them to a mis-spelt domain that did not exist at the time. I see a certain other villa listings site has picked up on it and tried to use it to their advantage. I've changed the redirect so it goes to Google now as that will be safe and won't ever change.

If only all Forum members knew just went on behind the scenes so the Forum runs as smoothly as it does. I well remember the Chinese shoes !!!

They are a pain to say the least as they are still trying all sorts of tricks to post their spammy messages on here. We aim to keep a few steps ahead of them but it's a constant battle as they keep coming up with new tricks [msnsad].
