What will be new in 2012?

Hi, we were in Florida this August for the first time in 3 years.

Since our 2007 visit, we had Aquatica, Manta, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Rip Ride Rockit and the Simpsons to enjoy for the first time. We wont be in Florida again until summer 2012, and was wondering if there are any plans for new rides etc in the Orlando area between now and then?

Im sure if there are any developments they wont be as significant as we we experienced this time, but it would be lovely to have something new to look forward to as well as our current favourites! Does anyone know if anything is planned?

Discovery Cove is adding a Coral reef with underground grottos.

Busch Gardens is having a new roller coaster

When people ask us if we ever get bored of the same things they are surprised to learn how much new stuff there is all the time.

The first phase of Fantasyland @ Magic Kingdom is due to open 2012. It will will focus on the princess areas - Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and others. Pixie Hollow opens in 2013.

The Star Wars attraction @ Hollywood Studios is also due to re-open.

Just to add to the Discovery Cove comment. As soon as the Grand Reef opens (June 2011) they are going to close the Tropical Reef until sometime in 2012.
