Our trip part ten - nearly done!

    Saturday 27th
Up early, we have breakfast out on the deck. It is a bit breezy today but that is fine for us. We are going to clean the carpets and an assistant at Lowes advised us to turn off the A/C and open all the windows to let a draft through which would help dry the carpets quickly.
We get to work systematically going through the rooms. I spot spray the marks and then use a heavy tread area spray in the door ways etc. Alan gets to grip with the 'machine' and it's not long before we decide to have a cup of coffee - we are half way through! Thank goodness the living area is all tiled and we are just doing the 5 bedrooms and the den! By 1pm we are finished [msnsmile2] We take the 'machine' back to Lowes, pop in Walmart for a few bits and then back to the villa to check our chores list!

    Sunday 28th
Alan thinks we will never be finished in time for our flight on Tuesday! I think that is wishful thinking on his part that we will have to stay! Generally now we are tidying room by room, putting in new comforters as we go and photographing the finished results. The weather is a bit overcast so the outside photos will be done tomorrow.
We have to go back to Ikea today, one of the new lamps doesn't work [msnsad] We stop off at Prime Otlets too and I manage to get some perfume for DD for Christmas. We pass a TJ Maxx on the way down International Drive and I have always wanted to have a look - so in I go, hubby stays in the car, that way he knows I won't be too long [msnwink]. Just enough time for another trip to Walmart and we both look the other way as we pass Lowes!! Yet another few goodies fall into the trolley and then back to the villa for dinner!

    Monday 29th
We get the outside pctures taken early (ish!) while the skies are perfectly blue [msnsmile2] Next we put up the Christmas Tree for the next guests. We haven't seen it up before so there is a lot of 'oooh doesn't it look nice'!! and 'Aaahh, he lights are so pretty!'. How sad are we! We photgraph that too and with not too much left to do we have quite a leisurely day - finally! Hubby makes dinner, and for once we are not leaving a fridge full of food, just a few bits - perhaps we have finally cracked that one! I set the table and we photgraph the dining area and then have dinner sitting at our lovely table [msnsmile] I have made a banoffee pie with the last bananas and we sit down later to watch a movie on TV (Scrooged - always funny!) with a bowl of pie and Edy's Caramel Delight ice cream - which is now our favourite!

    Tuesday 30th
Last photos taken of the lounge with and without the Christmas tree! Beds all remade, everything looking lovely and tidy - almost as if we had never been here [msnsad] We don't have to leave till 3ish, so I pop over to Posner Park and manage to get a few more bits! - as you do!!!!! I manage to stuff them in and now we are all packed. Hubby has managed to find a Champions League match on TV it will be hard to get him out of here on time [msneek]

So, that is that! All done, trip virtually over. Time to start planning the next - and guess what ...... we already have a list of things to do next time!
