    No longer gloating in Chelmsford we have had enough snow overnight to back up all the traffic due to roads not being gritted early enough

    We have got snow here in Standish this morning and they say more to come on the news it said a few planes did not take of

    About an inch for us in Wilmslow, Cheshire. It was snowing when I left for work this morning so could be more when I get home[V]

    Think it's 'cos we're high up here (City Way) probably if you go into Strood or Chatham there won't be much.

    It's so frustrating how at the first sign everything collapses. it took my daughter 3.5 hours for the 1.5 hour commute on the train. If we get 3 months of uncertain weather and unreliable trains, the patience of all employers will start to wear a bit thin.

    Mind you my daughter did persuade me to put the christmas tree and decorations up at the weekend so it does look more festive with snow falling outside.

    We left Florida on Friday having had temperatures up to (33c)91f now I am hibernating at home there is snow outside and the temperature is (0c)32f and I have the flu. Please someone take me back.[msnsmile2]
