No longer gloating in Chelmsford we have had enough snow overnight to back up all the traffic due to roads not being gritted early enough

About an inch for us in Wilmslow, Cheshire. It was snowing when I left for work this morning so could be more when I get home[V]

Think it's 'cos we're high up here (City Way) probably if you go into Strood or Chatham there won't be much.

Still none here either but then we are only further along the coast from you in sunny Bournemouth!
Steph, daughter who lives 10 miles from Dover says she can not get her car off the drive this morning.

Thanks Mo
I suspect we'll be at Rochester Castle Chrismas market rather than Calais at the weekend.
It's so frustrating how at the first sign everything collapses. it took my daughter 3.5 hours for the 1.5 hour commute on the train. If we get 3 months of uncertain weather and unreliable trains, the patience of all employers will start to wear a bit thin.
Mind you my daughter did persuade me to put the christmas tree and decorations up at the weekend so it does look more festive with snow falling outside.
We left Florida on Friday having had temperatures up to (33c)91f now I am hibernating at home there is snow outside and the temperature is (0c)32f and I have the flu. Please someone take me back.[msnsmile2]
