Our trip part nine - Thanksgiving :)

    Thursday 25th
It's Thankgiving Day today. We are having lunch with our Management Company and family. We - well, I! - get up early. I want to get some painting done before we go out. As I can't paint till the light is right, I have a cup of coffee, check my email, facebook (lol), and the forum of course! I write my next trip report and post it - nothing else to do [msnsad], guess I had better paint! Hubby is paintng the deck today and the front porch. By one o'clock we down tools, shower and get ready to go out. We get there at 2ish. There are eleven of us, including the baby, (she's nearly two - is that still a baby?). Anyway, lunch with all the trimmimgs! I'm a veggie but there was plenty of veg for me, just what I like [msnsmile2]. W have never had Pumpkin Pie, and we were surprised - we liked it! I love cinnamon! It was so lovely to spend Thanksgiving day with others and we are glad we came. As we drive home later we both feel very full, we're not used to eating a large meal in the middle of the day! No supper tonight!

    Friday 26th
It's Black Friday! Apparently!! More painting for us but what isn't done today will not get done. We only have a few days left and we have the carpets to steam clean, tidying up to do, new photos to take and we would like a day off! I start cleaning the windows while it is still cool out, and Alan paints the deck again. Next I finish painting the second master bedroom. I also have new comforters for the twin rooms, so I get to work putting new platform covers on the beds and remaking them. I am pleased, they look great [msnsmile] Hubby is finished, so we pop down to Walmart. We have a browse around and then to Lowes to hire the steam cleaner for the carpets. All sorted we head home - except I forgot to hire the attachments to do the sofas [msnsad] So, u-turn!! Back to Lowes! It's like deja vu for the assistant and I and we have a laugh about needing to go home!

Back at the villa it is now too late to start, so we agree to get up early and work together to get the job done. Nearly time for a day off!
