    Sad Face :o(

Having been sat freezing all day with the rain pelting down outside, i was met with the depressing realisation that we won't be back in Florida for another 20 months! [msnsad]

We were there in august, though this now seems like a lifetime ago...i must admit i am a teeny bit (ok, huge bit!) jealous of those flying out to the sunshine state for the christmas holidays.

Hopefully you will regail us all left behind with photos and trip reports! Oh well, were booking up in Spring so after that the countdown can officially begin!

I understand how you feel, we were there in May and won't be going back until 2012 - we have promised our selves to work on the house. But like all things, it will come around, sooner rather that later, and we will enjoy it all the more having to wait that little bit longer.[msnsmile2]

We aren't going until October 2012 and we last went October 2009, it seems such a long way away especially on these dreary autumn days [msncry]

I understand how you are feeling, We are going in 4 weeks for our daughters wedding on the 22nd and it will be our 1st time there at Christmas. Sadly this may well be the last time we will be able to go as husband was made redundant earlier this year and has been unable to secure a permanant job! So I am determined to make the most of this holiday[msnwink]

Sadly Margaret I understand, my husband was made redundant a couple of months ago(followed a month later with my short term contract ending) and a new job is just not happening at the moment for either of us. I refuse to believe things won't get better and am already planning next years holiday. We arrive 24th, two days after you and this break should recharge our batteries and put us back on a more positive footing. When down the only place is up.

Looking outside this monring it is cold dry and sunny (first time we have seen sun this week) so it does not seem quite so bad being in the UK till you look at the weather forecast for the coming week.

Wish we had a holiday booked to Florida but nothing at the moment as Stuart lost his permanent job earlier in the year and is on a short term contract which ends in February and who knows what will happen then. TfL are having yet another reogranisation in an effort to save money. However, all they seem to be doing is getting rid of the senior managers who have years of technical experience and can actually design and deliver schemes and bringing in graduates who are cheaper but can only tick boxes and hope when consultants tell them they have done the work correctly they have. (Moan over and still no holiday to Florida on the horizon)[msnsad]
