Alamo mid size suv fuel charge.

Just back last week from a great holiday.
We hired a mid size suv at mco and was charged $67.76 for our tank of fuel as it was silver option, I remember another poster saying they were charged $48 for exactly the same just the week before.
Has anyone hired the same recently and what were you charged ?

Looking at petrol prices and what we were paying when last over in Orlando in August $67.76 sounds a good price to be charged.

It was me who said we were charged $48 for a tank that was on August 7th. However even on red we never managed to get more than $30 into the car so maybe you had a car with a bigger fuel tank we had the jeep.

It's not such a big deal, but thought that it should be a set amount for fuel for the class of car.
It can't be a case of a bigger size of tank as you pay for the fuel before picking the car. As it happened they didn't have a mid size available so got a standard suv which was great.
