Last year on our return from the sunshine state we decided to return again in 2011. This year was out due to treatment my wife received for breast cancer. This has given me a chance to trend the flight prices for 2010 and gauge them against what we paid for our 2009 flights.
We travelled October 2009 and returned November 2009, I have been checking flight prices for around the same travel period for 2010.
The closest we got for 2010 fares was in December 2009 at £96 more expensive than we paid for our 2009 flights.
The most expensive was a whopping £586 more expensive, and this was in June 2010.
Prices were taken from BA website and are EDI/LGW/MCO and return. Price trend below which I hope you will find of interest.
Just to note I paid £429 for my flights last year with BA.
