LHR - MIA with Virgin - What are planes like?

We normally fly LGW - MCO (and not good last time as we had sound issues [msnsad]) so I was wondering what the planes are like in comparison. Better? Worse? Same entertainment? Thanks

Miami planes are much better and the delays are not as bad - unfortunately we had a delay on the way out due to a missing passenger. Apart form him everyone was ready for take off at least 15 minutes early.
Entertainment system was the new one where you can start and stop movies whenever you want. Plane was nice and clean and everything seemed to work.
They dont use the old Jumbos on this route

Good news and we saved a fortune by going into Miami too[clap]. Although at first we thought not ideal we are having our last day in Miami as the flight home doesn't leave til 7.30pm so getting better and better[msnsmile2]

We're flying LHR-MIA again next August with Virgin, except this time it is not a 747 but the A340-600, I don't know wether I will like the seating arrangements as much.
