Has anyone heard of a company called Oceam Florida? Have been looking at flights (as I seem to have been doing since they were released!) and they have listed a flight with United Airlines at £499 for next August! I have made an enenquiry but it does seem very cheap, even if that doesn't include taxes.

I've never heard of them before but a lot of airlines drop flight prices towards the end of the August. United fares change from 22 August 2011 and before that date you'll be paying around £700.

It's illegal in the UK to advertise flight prices that don't include taxes so I'm sure they are in the fare you've quoted.

Have heard of them and even had a quote from them for August, but they never quoted anything as low as that.

They have been operating for several years - used to pass them on the way to my MIL. They are ATOL members so would have thought it would be safe to book with them. As mentioned flight prices do tend to drop towards the end of August so why not give them a ring and see what they have on offer.

Can't go as late as that as got kids starting secondary and 6th form and feel they need to be there at the sart. Got quote back and is over £700! Bit different from the one advertised to lure you in although not a bad price.

Is the £700 a direct flight?

No - United don't fly direct to MCO. Probably via Chicago.

Didn't go with that as we have (just) booked miles and money flights into Miami. Best price we could find and hubby doesn't mind the drive. Booked lhr - mia for £664 adult price. Happy with that. Going in hols looking at the other prices we were thinking we might not be able to go[msnsad] but now [msnsmile2]
