    gecko

One day our pool man arrived and I was saying to him there was a lot of spiders and wee beasties, he said catch a few geckos and let them run around they will eat every thing they see.
Is that true or was he pulling my leg.

It is very true - I have seen a gecko "feed" on insects for hours on end.

We have a pair of them live in our pool cage and when we were out in September we had an addition who is only a few inches long and can run just as fast as the adults. We felt really silly trying as we tried to corner him in the great room so we could get him back outside where he belonged.

We had one in our second master suite a couple of years back, and we tried to catch it, but they move like lightening!!

I am so pleased to hear that they eat insects and spiders[msnscared]

    God bless those little geckos[msnsmile][msnsmile][msnsmile]

We tried to catch one last summer, it was under the drawers in my bedroom, as we shooed it out with a broom my friend clamped a tupperware container down on it but only caught it's tail which broke off an continued to wriggle[sick][sick]

We bought some plants from Walmart in August, Steve put them in the boot and guess what, he came back into the shop and said there is now one in the car. Although it was small I was terried it would come out when I was driving. We tried to get it out for 2 days and then when we were coming home from Universal I spotted it on the dash. Had to detour off at Lake Buenavista and then try to get him Out. As you say they move incredibly fast. We did manage to get him out though!
