Advice wanted on T B Buccs parking.

We are going to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game over in Tampa and wanted to know about what time to arrive before a game, where to park safely, how much, and how far to walk to stadium. The game starts at 1.00 pm on a Sunday, so we are going over to Tampa from Orlando area.

Any tips and information to help make the trip easier and smoother would be really appreciated. The parking side of it really concerns me as we have a group member recently had hip operation and cant walk too far. Please help if you can.

We went there recently but had purchased a car parking permit in advance.
The closest parking areas are all permit holders only - general parking is available approximately a 10 minute walk and $25 pay on the day. Some of the larger shops nearby offer car parking but also charge.
Ittook us about an hour from Highway 27 and we got there about 1.5 hours before the game, probably dont need to get there that early but if you havent got car parking booked might be a good idea.
You cant take any food or drink into the grounds and they will search you on entry.
