I am looking for a quote for car hire in May of 2011 but am only getting Budget and Alamo coming up on UScar hire. Is there a problem with Dollar?

I think its because the other rental company's have not issued there rates for that far in advance yet.

Yes, this is just because Dollar have not released their rates as yet.

Dollar Thrifty were bought out by Hertz last week (after a bidding war between Hertz and Avis Budget) so it will be interesting to see what (if anything) happens with the Dollar Thrifty branding and rates in the future. I don't think anything will change in the short term, but it might mean they are a bit slower than usual in releasing the next years rental rates.

I use thrifty every year and have No credit card and never have a problem.
