quick cheap postage to Florida

hi Guys ,

Im hoping someone can help here, My son broke his glasses recently and ordered 2 pairs from a site thats everywhere on the net just now,he did so because they saud they would be dispatched within 3 days , anyway youve guessed they have not arrived yet and he leaves on Monday but he still needs his glasses. I thought as he is away for 18 days I could just post them by courier buy the quote we got was for over 40.00 .

Does anyone know the quickest and cheapest way to get his glasses to him, as its going to be hard for him to walk about wih tape on his glasses [msnembarrased]

I think £40 is pretty good value. If the glasses have not arrived, can you not cancel the order and buy some which can be produced whilst you wait?

You may find if he takes his glasse with him that one of the stores may be able to do a better repai for him to last till he gets home.

Alternatively you may find that when his glasses arrive here, there may be someone here who is flying over who might take them over for you so he can collect them from them.

We used an International overnight courier who is local to us when we needed to get our safe key over quickly which cost us about £30 about 4 years ago so £40 seems a fair price.
Have youu tried asking the glasses company if there is anyway they can ship them to the States since they have not fulfilled their original delivery, it's worth a try if you explain the situation , how old is your son? If he is old enough you could always try telling them he needs them for driving.

If he takes his prescription, several people have had glasses made over there as they were cheaper.
