I've posted already about Berry Town Center but which other communities have shops/restaurants you can walk to?

Southern Dunes has a walmart winn dixie and other shops and restaurants just outside the gate

The Formosa Shopping Centre is 10 minutes walk from us on oak island cove,Formosa Gardens,Rolling Hills,Indian Creek are pretty much the same give or take a minute ot two.
There are some 8 restaurants,2 with bars,supermarket,medical centre and atm

Glenbrook has a Sweetbay Supermarket and Chinese takeaway in easy walking distance along with A Walgreens and CVS. There are also a couple of restaurants within walking distance but at about 10/12 mins.

Highgove is walking distance to Walmart, and resturants.

BASS LAKE ESTATES just off highway 192 you can walk to the walmart and a selection of shops and restaurants.

Hunters Creek has The Loop shopping centre. (There are still some villas there fully licensed for short term rental).

Depends what you mean Elaine, whilst several are within walking distance it is the return journey in the heat with those shopping bags that is not so much fun. This is why little walking goes on!!

it's more to do with going out for a bite to eat in the evening and not taking the car or nipping out for a paper and milk in the morning.
