communities near Highway 27

Hi

we've always rented on Poinciana Blvd which is near the SR 535 and we think is handy for most things. However we've been looking st villas near Highway 27 and can recollect previous posts mentioning I think its called "Berry town centre" which I gather is a strip of restaurants and shops near this area. Are we right in thinking this and if so are there any communities within walking distance of it? Pluse where exactly is it located?

Calabay Parc is near Berry Town Centre on H27 there is also another strip of restaurants and shops near here as well as Posner Park which is a shopping complex just past the turning for I4.

We always stay on Calabay Parc, it is a lovely community.

Further south on US 27 is Calabay Park at Tower Lakes and Southern Dunes both of which are walking distance of shops and restaurants.

The Retreat at Legacy Park is immediately to the north of Berry Town Centre. When you leave the community on the 27, the shops at Berry Town Centre are the next turning on the right.

You'll find the US27 a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants. You also have direct access on to Interstate-4 or US192, making all the Disney attractions within easy reach. There are lots of nice communities to choose from in the US27 area.

Berry Town Centre (no relationship) is located approx 2 miles south of the junction with 192 west. Highlands Reserve is right beside it well within walking distance. There is a Publix supermarket, an Applebees restaurant, Kumo Japanese, a Pizza restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. There is also Linksters taproom and Sundays for Fish and Chips. Regal Palms Bar and restaurant is just behind and are open to the public
Highlands Reserve has 18 hole Golf Course, Tennis Courts, Communal Pool and Kiddies playground.

We stayed on Highlands Reserve earlier this year. Lovely, quiet community within walking distance of the shops etc mentioned in another reply.

Very good golf course. Highlands Reserve gives good access in both directions being just 10 minutes from the 192 and 10 minutes from the I4.

We are staying on Highlands again next March.

Lake Davenport Estates is very close to Berry Town Centre -it is at the traffic lights of 27 and Florence Villa Grove Road only about 1/2 mile away .

Jill, I don't think Calabay Parc at Tower Lake is within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Not sure would have thought so - if you like walking as you would come out of Bates Road and it is not that far on the left to Walmart.
