Great photo Lynne.
When my DH & DS were playing Long Marsh at Rotonda a couple of weeks ago they saw an Alligator on one of the greens as soon as it saw them it soon moved back into the small lake!

Thanks Michelle I cannot claim the honours for the photo as it was hubby and taken from a movie shot as opposed to a still camera.
This chap was between 7 to 8 feet and ambled very slowly back towards his lake; ushered by one of the groundsmen, simply armed with a long handled spade.
I would say he is a long term resident who lives peacefully alongside the golfers.

Here we have wild turkey's ...I hear they are nearly as dangerous..people are being attacked in their back gardens..people can't go out at night...can't wait for thanksgiving...lol
That is a great picture.
No wonder our American neighbour, who plays at Lemon Bay, was so grateful for some golf balls we found left in our villa. I guess you would not want to retrieve any that went in the water.

We have a little gator that lives in the middle lake on our resort, he is only about 3 feet and I hope that we never meet his mummy.....
