advice wanted on disney restaurants

Can anyone give our group of adults advice on any places worth trying on Disney property, (but not in the theme parks) that would be nice for an evening meal? I have heard people talk of the Polynesian resort or such resorts? Something that is not too pricey but is themed really nicely?

Is this too big an ask? Are all Disney restaurants etc very expensive? [msnsad]

Buffet meals range from around $19.00 a head to $36 a head in the resorts. They are more expensive in holiday season.

There are several resorts which are very nice but our personal favorite for a buffet is probably Bomas at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food is a little different and the resort is so nice to walk around. You can watch the animals from several viewing points around the resort.
The dinner buffer is $30.88 in non holiday season . They usually add about $4 in peak seasons.
