If it's anything like the game my husband went to see then here's some tips.

It's an easy drive from Orlando area to Tampa.

Get there early. The traffic gets into gridlock quite quickly.

There's a Wal-Mart to park if you don't have anywhere else within walking distance of the stadium and on the same side of the road.

Don't arrange to meet anyone unless well away from the stadium because the chances are that you'll never get a vehicle anywhere near to pick them up.

The whole vicinity is changed into a one way system and going around and around takes ages per circuit. If you're trying to spot someone into the bargain, it can be a nightmare.

When you come out remember where you parked the car. Be prepared to be waved past where you want to go by the police.

So it's much like a big game in the UK really with lots of people and loads of vehicles. It's a family day out and there are many children there - everyone is polite and well behaved. Lots of locals take their RVs (recreational vehicles or camper vans) and have BBQs in the car parks.

Final tip - enjoy it, it's an amazing stadium.

Plus it is amazingly easy when you return to your car to actually leave the vicinity. All the roads are manned by police and the reverse one way system if fantastic so you will be back on the I-4 before you know it!! Some of the 'tailgate parties' are great fun out of the back of the RV's and we were lucky enough to be invited to one in a marquee which was fit for the Queen let alone a bunch of people going to watch a game. Absolutely mind blowing and a one off experience so far, but you never know.......we may be invited again[msnwink]

    Have a great time.

We went last week and got a parking pass with our tickets. Parking is $25 on the day or some shops a bit further away charge around $15. Got out tickets through a website and were delivered by Fed Ex. DM me if you want a link.
You can't tke anything much into the statium, especially food and drink. Searches are very thorough. Game ended at 10:30 and we were back at the villa on the 27 by midnight.

Have you considered The Jacksonville Jaguars? Jacksonville is less that two hours up 1-95. The stadium is downtown Jacksonville. It's a huge bowl. Not a bad seat anywhere.

    Facts about Jacksonville:
Jacksonville is the largest city, by area, in the continental USA.
Jacksonville is next to St Augustine. The USA's oldest city.
Jacksonville has the nation's largest urban park system in the country.
Jacksonville's beaches are one of Florida's best kept secrets.

    Wherever you go, enjoy.
