Good Mexican and Steakhouse

Am coming over for 16nights on 28th Sept, staying in a villa so planning to eat out for dinner around 8 times, have already decided on the following:-

Planet Hollywood
Hard Rock Cafe
Applebees
Mannys
Chillis
Fridays Front Row Sports Grille

Wife and I love Mexican and would also love to try a proper Steak so am looking for recommendations for a Mexican and a Steakhouse, preferably reasonably priced. Am staying on H27 just south of the 192 junction

Can't comment on the Mexican as we have never been for one out there. I do love my steaks though and always try hard to find the best. Here is my definitive top 3, it's only my opinion but i have tried a lot!

1. Ruth Chris's Steakhouse
2. Charleys
3. Manny's

All the rest (Applebee's, Longhorns, Outback etc. etc.) are very nice but there's just something about the aged, smoked steaks that are just the 'cut' above the rest.

We've just arrived for a 3-week stay and have noticed a new restaurant on Hwy 27 a couple of miles north of the 192 junction. It is called Santa Fe Cattle Co (www.santafecattle.com). We're hoping to try it out soon so will post again and let you know if we would recommend.

We had a very nice Mexican meal at Abuelo's which is at The Loop.

I'll second that about Abuelo's also try BJ's Brewhouse right next door to Abuelo's and the Elephant Bar at Mall at Millenia is also fantastic
