    Virgin every time.

    We like:

*The flight times (10:25 out and 20:25 home)
*Prices (we always seem to find a deal)
*Flying Club (we have just saved around £450 by using miles plus money.(Miles were only collected with previous flights, not shopping or credit card etc...)
    *Free drinks on board
    *Kids pack and entertainment
*Skycots (we've had these the last 2 times)
    *Manchester flights
*2 x 23kg bag allowance (this has now stopped)
[/quote]Virgin are offering to carry a golf bag for free as well as a case.
    Regards, Mark

We normally fly Virgin from Manchester! but flight prices have rocketed this year! so going with who ever is the cheapest!! in this case it's Thomson. Most of the charters have been fine and if you can get Premium class it's great.

I have always booked with Virgin, apart from this year. They have put their charges up considerably. This year we are flying into Sanford with first choice and selected Premium. It is different and we hope well worth it? Mel

Not sure if you know, but when I spoke to Virgin cutsomer service the other day they said the call center is moving back from India to Wales, as they had so many complaints.

We also always book Virgin, mainly for the same reasons as you (although we fly the opposite direction in to Manchester)

Thank god for that! I had so many problems with them last year, regularly shouting at a guy called Tilak, i even wrote to head office (with no response)! The irony is that when i came to book around 5 weeks ago, i went thru to Flying club reservations and who should answer the phone........TILAK!! He remembered me! Not sure whether i was impressed or not!

Almost always fly on Lufthansa...but that's simply because no-one else goes anywhere from here - and even LH don't fly direct to Orlando! If it's not LH then it's a Star Alliance codeshare booked though LH.

Very very occassionally we've booked BA for trips back to UK, and Virgin for trips to USA, but then we need to transit in UK.

For me the flight is merely a means of transportation, and (safety concerns permitting) I'm not really bothered who I fly on.

    First Choice/TUI for me.

They fly direct from Newcastle and also have stacks of room and excellent inflight entertainment.

Thomas Cook/Monarch too cramped and have flown BA via Gatwick beofre when the NCL/LGW flight was a BA Flight, but prefer going into Sanford rather than MCO.

Given that the airlines have to meet safety standards our decisions are made on price and convenience. Always go direct into Orlando or Miami. Can't really say there is much to choose between them.

Virgin for us, as we fly out of Manchester we don't have a lot of choice. Don't like the fact that the oldest planes are used from Manchester whilst the newer fleet is from London.

I think you can rest assured that Gatwick has the same tatty aircraft as Manchester, Heathrow to Miami might have the newer aircraft. Because of this we now fly BA.

We normally fly out of Manchester with Virgin as this is the only option up north apart from going to London to go with BA. I do think they offer a good service, however some of the planes on the Manchester- orlando route need a refurb. If you have ever flown Virgin - Miami from LHR you will know what I mean.
