What are the must to go parks

If you were going to orlando for the first time, what are the parks and places that you would try to visit in 2 weeks.

    Thanks

Again depending on the ages of the children the Kennedy Space Centre is well worth visiting (I know holikdays are meant to be fun but it doesn't hurt to throw in the odd educational trip as well - and that goes for the adults too.) It is still a really interesting day out.

Don't get me, it is not my first trip to orlando, I have been there many times before but I have always done something else rather than the parks, I've done univeral, the wife and kids have done disney by themselves while I was house hunting. This year it would just be nice to do the park as a family.

For me going to orlando is about having a good time and exploring hence, I never plan nothing and just wake up and decide, its a good day let me go here and there, Ive never been the one to say day 1 park, day 2 park, day 3 rest, there is more to orlando and being that florida is so much bigger than here, there is so much to see besides the park.

If the budget allows, Discovery Cove is, in the opinion of my family, the best day of the holiday. We are fortunate enough to have spent two days there (2002 and 2009)and rate it the best of all the attractions we have visited. Sea World is probably my second favourite.

They would be on my list of places to visit.

In order of preference from the 2 times we have been:

    1. Discovery Cove
    2. Magic Kingdom
    3. SeaWorld
    4. Busch Gardens
    5. Hollywood Studios
    6. IOA
    7. Animal Kingdom
    8. Universal
    9. EPCOT

    Kids on 1st trip: 8,6,5 & 4 months
    Kids on 2nd trip: 10,8,7,2 & 4 months

We go again next Easter and they will be: 12,9,8,3 & 1 so Universal may start creeping up the list as the older ones will like it more. Same with EPCOT i suppose as they really weren't that bothered for it last time (apart from Test Track).

I agree with the others that it all depends on the ages of the children. If wife & kids have done Disney, have they done the others? My family love Sea World (could be the brainwashing by mum[msnwink] but I don't think so), they also love Kennedy (this is my turn to stay at the villa)
