One of the best tips we got is to look out for the "Disney for Free" options.

2 that we enjoy are to go to Downtown Disney and take the boat up to the Port Orleans resort and have an ice cream. We usually walk back to the mid point stop and get the boat back from there.

Another favourite is the Boardwalk, when you get to the security entrance you tell them that youu are going to the Boardwalk and they then direct you to a separate car park (free parking) and you walk around the lake which has several hotels backing onto it. You can even walk into the Worldshowcase at Epcot so it great if you want to go late and see the fireworks or something.

Just heard of another which may be good for when we have youngster with us.

Take the free boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Fort Wilderness Campground.Arrive early enough and for $2 the children can enjoy a pony ride.Tour the stables for free and get close and personal with all those Disney friendly horses. Rent a surrey bike and investigate the miles of paved trails. Perhaps a few minutes relaxation on the white sand beach as the sun sets. For $65 you can rent a family size pontoon boat and roam the lakes for an hour. Arrive around dinner time and enjoy a decent meal at the Tavern or Trails End family restaurant. After that head over to the camp fire area for an evening of family fun. Take the shuttle boat back to the Wilderness Lodge.

You used to be able to ride with the Monorail driver if you asked but not sure if that is still allowed. Basically youu just have to ask when you are going through the baarrier.

Take a tour of all the hotels around any holiday season and it's incredible the amount of attention to detail you can see.

At the Polynesian Hotel go to the white sand beach that faces the MK.Grab one of hundreds of lawn chairs, sit back and enjoy the fireworks show. They have a beach bar so you can order any type of drink as you take in the show.

Ok I know technically that is more than one but they all come under the same umbrella and we find it's the "different" things that can change the holiday into an even greater one when youu try to find something else to do each trip.
