Davenport Kissimmee

We are staying in a Villa in the Davenport Area of Kissimmee. Can anyone tell me what the area is like, if theres any mcdonalds/fast food restraunts or walmarts about. Thanks alot!

Which development are you staying on? I'm on Sandy Ridge, but Davenport covers quite a large area.

Depending on where you are exactly, you're probably very close to Champions Gate (exit 58 from I4, SR 532, Osceola Polk Line Road) which has a Publix, a McDonalds, Walgreens, hairdressers, good Chinese restaurant, liqor store and quite a few other shops. This is about 4 miles from me.

At the corner of SR 532 and Old Lake Wilson Road there's a similar setup, with another Publix, Chinese takeaway, etc. Also across the road is a 7-Eleven, Pizza Hut (takeaway only) plus a few others. This is about 2 mile from me.

It's only about 7 miles down Old Lake Wilson Road to W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (192) which has a load of restaurants and bars.

Celebration is about 10 miles away

Davenport Circle is off of Siesta Lago Dr, so you are near the 192 which has plenty of fast food places and a Walmart [msnsmile]

Our villa is in Davenport; restaurants, shops and Walmart (the kids favorite place) is all within easy distance
