There is also Clermont Landing on the 27, about 15 minutes north from the 192. Good selection of shops plus Red Lobster, Olive Garden and others being built when we were last out there. There is also a large Walmart up that way as well as Kohls department store. Also Santa Fe restaurant is about two minutes north on the 27 at the entrance to Woodrige, Clear Creek and Silver Creek plus Sweetbays (my favourite) supermarket at the entrance to Glenbrook.

I agree it is a matter of preference, we prefer the US27 as it gives great access to the I4 with quick and easy access to Disney and other attractions including trips to the beaches. There is now good infrastructure in the area, providing shopping, restaurants, golf, medical centres etc.

I agree the new Santa Fe is a great eating place.

Yes Jill & Brian, the new shpping centre at Clermont landing is great. A bit like Posner Park but with more places to eat and the added benefit of a cinema complex.

It is all very much a personal preference and possibly what you are used to. We much prefer being at the West end of the 192, we can get to Disney easily. Being on Lindfields we do not have to go onto the 192, we just cut along the back on Funie Steed Road and miss all the traffic lights then just cross 192 at Sherberth and straight into Disney. We are also handy for the 27 if there are any restaurants or shops that we want to use there, but in all honesty we rarely go onto 27 other than to go to Wal-mart or Cagan Crossings Library and Lowe's. But as I say we all like different things and different areas. It is just a personal choice.
