If you intend to go shopping at the Malls, take some old clothes with you and after buying new ones, you can re-cycle over there and keep the weight down on luggage.

On arrival at airport change a couple of notes up into change. I got caught on an exit to the toll road where the automatic machine would only take change (75 Cents).

I have recently come back from orlando and miami, and we was using a caxton FX dollar currency card instead of carrying travelers cheques .
It was just like using a credit card or debit card it was brilliant to use in all the shops because its a mastercard.

    Everthing else you have covered.

Just a quick query about the Caxton FX card, as I have just ordered and received mine. Do they make any additional charges for using it in shops or cash machines?
    Thanks

Just been doing my washing and it reminded me of something I found useful on our last trip.

It's the sheets that you place in the machine to safe guard your clothes from colour runs. We take the minimum of clothes with us and shop for new one's once we're there. When we wash our new clothes we use cold/cold but these sheets were very good. We were able to put darks and whites in together. We wash often on small or med loads so we were able to cut the sheets in two. I've seen these sheets in Tesco and in our local 99p shop.

Years ago we met up with friends who were going on their first holiday to Florida, when I told her about villas having washer/dryers she was horrified as she didn't plan to spend her precious holiday doing the same things as she at home.

When they returned she said that she wished she had listened as half the clothes they all took were never used as she washed most days. They needed the space in their cases for all the things they wanted to bring back. [msnwink][msnwink]

Do those sheets really work? Can't understand how a sheet of anything could stop red running into white, Bill would not like pink polo shirts[msnsad]

The ones I buy here in France work for me... I don't know exactly how though.

I use the colour catchers evry wash now, they do seem to work. Ny duaghter has a few tops for work which are black but with white cuffs, collar and mock fron and it does seem to keep them fresher. They are cheaper in Walmart though so I usually bring a few boxes back with me along with Dryel (tumble dryer, dry cleaning cloths which saves having to keep going to dry cleaners.
