Shopping advice from the forum women

We have bought a UK super kingsize bed/matress and are finding it really hard to get nice bedding here and also wanted to get some nice sets out in Florida. Our superking is there king roughly i think. Can anyone recommend any nice bed linen places to get quilt cover sets etc. Any help appreciated. [msnsmile2]

    Thanks, Oceansplasher

There are many nice places for nice bedding and all different price ranges.
JC Penny, Macys, Bed Bath and Beyond, Walmart, Target, Burlington coat factory, are but a few. I must admitt i usually look at the comforter sets so not sure if they all do quilt cover sets.
We have bought the comforter sets to use at home now and prefer them to a quilt cover now.

Too many to mention. If you want to look in advance most of the places Mary has mentioned above have websites so take a look before you buy.

They have started doing quilt covers in the US, but they are very expensive and have little choice. One option is to get a comforter and use a sheet under in. This does also means you only have to wash the sheets.

Most of the places Mary mentions have websites, so you can browse in advance

We have a UK Superking bed and brought all our bedding including the quilt from Macy's. They do lovely designer bedding at half the price of the UK, the best selection is Macy's at Mall of Millenia as that is the biggest one. You can view online and if they don't have the collection you want at the store then they will order it in for you.

We have just replaced all our bedding from Macy's after having a good look round lots of stores. Another advantage is you can get a 10% discount card.

There is plenty of nice bedding at all the aforementioned stores, however, the choice for quilt covers is not good in any of them. They are just not into quilts with covers.

I found I really hard to get quilt covers and ended up with just sheets. Have you tried Next or Debenhams at home, they both sell super kingsize.

Belk is another but as others have said the Americans have only jusr really started to get into quilts and covers, up to now they have always seemed to have comforters. It seems be only the dept stores have very expensive quilts and covers and not sure to be honest that there is anything nicer than here.
Sizewise the superking Uk size is equivalent to the US kingsize.
